“I had been watching and learning sewing from my mother and my grandmother for as long as I can remember. My mum first let me loose on her sewing machine to make a rag doll and doll’s clothes when I was about 9.
I just love the whole process of sewing. Sewing has given me a skill that I’m always grateful for, and that I’m constantly honing, and love to pass on. But most importantly for me, it has meant never having to compromise on design, fit, and fabric quality when making special clothes to love and cherish.
What started as bespoke special occasion wear for my own personal wardrobe over 30 years ago led to 10 years making bespoke wedding gowns, and eventually teaching sewing and pattern drafting.
I’m now really proud to offer a collection of simple and easily adaptable digital sewing patterns for anyone who wants to make beautiful clothes.”
